First time at Estero Fastfood in Ongpin, Manila and we gave it a shot! Ordered their Sinigang na Baboy and Tofu with Garlic Sauce. The food was okay, not mind-blowing but it hit the spot. What really impressed me was the friendly staff - they were super welcoming and made the experience pleasant. Plus, the food came out fast, which is perfect for a quick bite. One thing to note is that being located near the estero, the smell was noticeable when we first arrived, but it didn't affect our dining experience much. Overall, it's a solid spot for a fast and friendly meal.

Honestly we were just really surprised with the portions of the dishes. We were so used to smaller portions even though it says large so when we ordered large, oh it was large. It was difficult to finish it with just the three of us but it was tasty enough that we were able to keep going until we're stuffed! It's affordable too and perfect for group of friends that are looking for quick and easy access food area.

Dai Pai Dong a term for Hong Kong hawker food. This the closest you get in terms of athmosphere are taste. Popular back in the 70s and still to date. Cheap and delicious next to a bridge and creek.

Estero Fast-food "This spot is one of Chinatown's go-to places, and I can see why! The food is tasty, affordable, and the servings are big -especially the chicken sweet and sour, soy sauce squid, and the Yang Chow fried rice, which is perfectly seasoned and ties everything together. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. The place has a lively vibe, with groups of people, including foreign visitors, just enjoying themselves. It does get pretty warm in the afternoons, and the canal nearby can have a bit of a smell, which can be distracting. But if you're looking for great comfort food at a great price with generous portions, this is a solid choice!"

Although the location isn’t ideal (beside the creek) and the smell may not be the best, the food more than makes up for it. I’ve been going to LGA Fast Food since I was a kid, and every visit has been consistently great. Our usual order includes buttered chicken, camaron rebosado, fried frog legs, and yangchow fried rice. These dishes are incredibly delicious and really haven't change. If you visit during a less busy time, the food is served quickly—hot, fresh, and absolutely yummy. I highly recommend this place; the food is not only amazing but also very affordable!

Despite the name, dining here is a lot more bearable than expected. Food is good, fresh ingredients and fast preparation is to be expected. The place gets plenty of customers so there is a small chance that you will need to wait to be seated. This may not sound good at first but this proves that people are willing to wait just to dine here. Patience does pay off after all. Parking is a challenge even for motorcycles but if you were to go to Binondo, this should not come as a surprise.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Binondo! I always come back for their buttered chicken and fish fillet with tofu. Both dishes are delicious and consistently satisfying. Their medium-sized servings are generous, good for 3-4 people, and cost around ₱300-₱400. While the food is a bit on the expensive side, it’s definitely worth it for the quality. The dining area is well-ventilated and has that classic outdoor carinderia vibe — simple, but comfortable. The location is easy to find on Google Maps and very accessible. We went here at around 5pm on a Friday for early dinner so the place was not that packed. I’m not sure about the parking situation though, so that might be something to consider if you’re bringing a car. Overall, highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving good food!

The seafood here blow my mind away. I will definitely go back and order more. I also tried the frog legs which wasn't that great but the fried calamari was a solid choice once again. The prices are good too. You can just buy whatever you want and not to worry about spending too much cash.

I had a friend visiting from the States who wanted to experience the world's oldest Chinatown and Filipino-Chinese cooking. I was originally worried that he'd be super uncomfortable given how crowded and hectic Binondo is. We heard about this fast food place by word of mouth from some of my workmates that grew up in the area. For those that are worried about ambiance, food safety standards or air conditioning--stay away. The place obviously smells like an estero and the way the food is stored is questionable, but the food itself is great! Must-tries for the estero fast food place include the frog legs, the fried chicken, and the seafood pancake. The food is super fresh, flavorful, and CHEAP. If you're down for an adventure and potential acute gastroenteritis, definitely swing by this time-tested stall

Looking for some cheap Chinese restaurant? Head on to Binondo in Manila and get a thousand choices on where to dine. For me, I go by the many restaurants in Estero. The name of the rows of restaurant seems yucky at first. Well, the smell of the estero is not pleasant actually but you didn't go here to smell right? You're here to dine! :) And take your appetite to the next level by ordering food especially at LGA Restaurant, my personal favourite. Yang chow fried rice will always be my kind of rice here, not just any plain rice. I'd take their lapulapu with tausi as well. On one visit here, I tried frog legs, deep fried. I was hesitant at first because though I'm not a picky eater, the fact that eating frogs kinda freaks me out. the food server assured me by saying, "Ser, lasang manok din lang yan!" Gathering enough courage, I sampled a piece and it was true! It tastes like chicken. I wondered then if it was really frog legs and took one piece again, removed the breading, checked out the meat and yup, it was really the legs of a frog! Proving myself it was a frog, I tried to have a couple more. And then I ate my lapu-lapu with tausi again. That's about it. I ate frog legs. So, be adventurous (like me...?!? haha) and dine along the many restaurants along Estero in Binondo. Chow!
